Police are appealing for witnesses and information as part of ongoing enquiries into an assault in Rickmansworth.

The incident occurred at the Aquadrome, off Frogmoor Lane, at around 8.30pm on Saturday, May 20.

It was reported that two brothers were at Canal Fest when they began talking with a group of around 10 to 15 teenagers.

Some of the group then reportedly assaulted both men, before walking off in the direction of Tesco.

The victims fled the area and were assisted by members of the public.

One of the men was left bleeding heavily from the nose and required hospital treatment, while the other sustained bruising.

The group are described as being white, mainly male and predominantly aged around 16 to 17 years old, although an older man may have been with the group.

PC Sam Sydney, who is investigating, said: “Our enquiries are continuing at this time to establish the circumstances around what happened and to trace those involved.

“As part of this, I am appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to please come forward. Did you see a large group of teenagers in the area at the time? Did you come to the aid of the victims? Any information at all could greatly assist our enquiries.”
