Police hope residents may recognise photos of Asian jewellery that was stolen from a burglary in Bushey earlier this year. PC Paul Irelandm from the Hertsmere local Crime Unit, said: “Do you recognise this distinctive jewellery? Has someone offered it to you for sale? We are hoping, with the public’s help, that we will be able to reunite the victim, who has been unwell, with her sentimental jewellery.” The jewellery was stolen following a burglary at an address in Park Avenue on Thursday March 2 between 7.15am and 8.30pm. Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting crime reference number J2/17/282. Alternatively, if you have any information about this incident you can contact the independent crime-fighting charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or through their Anonymous Online Form at www.crimestoppers-uk.org. No personal details are taken, information cannot be traced or recorded and you will never need to go to court.
