POLICE APPEAL: Appeal following a report of sexual assault in Hemel Hempstead

Officers are appealing for information and witnesses following a report of a sexual assault in Hemel Hempstead.

Between 11pm and midnight on Friday, April 14 a woman was walking home down Warner’s End Road, towards Colette School, when she was approached and sexually assaulted by an unknown man. The man was described as tall, with dark hair and prosthetic leg.

Detective Sergeant, Georgina Fenge, from Hertfordshire Constabulary’s Sexual Offences Investigation Team:  said: “This was understandably a frightening ordeal for the victim, who is being supported by specially trained officers. I would like to reassure the public that a thorough investigation is underway and we are keen to trace any witnesses or anyone with information to get in touch.
