All Together Community are delighted to announce that plans to open a Community Fridge in Chalfont St Giles have been approved.
The fridge will be based in Blizzards Yard car park, behind the Co-op and the grand opening will be held on Saturday, September 11 from 2 to 4pm.
The event will take place in the car park from 2 to 2.45pm and then 2.45 to 4pm on the village green for drinks and official opening.
A community fridge collects surplus food from supermarkets and businesses which it then distributes to the community via the fridge.
The main aim is to reduce food waste and it is open for anyone to use.
The fridge will be open from September 15, every Wednesday and Saturday 10am-12.
