A Croxley-based orchestra with community at their heart is inviting any musicians out there to join them.
First formed back in the 1960s, the Watford Workshop Orchestra is excited to welcome its new conductor, Ryan Bunce.
John Durham, chair of the orchestra, said many of our members arrive having not played their instruments for many years.
The orchestra’s friendly and sociable environment gives them an opportunity to improve, build confidence and rediscover their pleasure in playing music.
“We are here for the community. We play a real mix of different styles of music and welcome adults of all ages and abilities. Our doors will be open for our first rehearsal of the new season on Thursday, September 9 at 8pm in St Oswald’s Church Hall. Come along, bring your instrument and enjoy the wonderful experience of making music together! ‘
