A mother of two from Radlett found comfort in a new photography hobby, capturing images of the village to balance the emotional aspect of her job working for a bereavement charity.
Claire Richman has always been interested in photography but has recently taken her hobby a step further turning her talents into a business and taking orders of prints from the community.
Claire told RADLETTNews: “I’ve always enjoyed taking photos, whatever the subject matter. This passion, I think, was born out of an obsessive need to capture moments in time for fear of forgetting them.
“During lockdown, I tried to push myself to improve the photos I took and wanted to seek out new and interesting opportunities to capture more. In November I took a stall at the Radlett Winter Fair selling photo prints, taking orders and discussing future work. It’s been a whirlwind so far, but I’m absolutely loving it”
Claire added that her favourite part of the village to capture is Battler’s Green Farm, which has a variety of photo opportunities from crops to flowers, fields, woodland, insects, livestock and wildlife.
