Thousands of residents signed a petition to see step-free access installed at Croxley Station and it has now been handed over to the programme director at Transport for London (TfL) Construction work has already begun on Baldwins Lane and Watford Road in preparation for the rail link from Croxley Station to Watford Junction, as part of the Metropolitan Line Extension (MLX), formerly known as the Croxley Rail Link. The two new stations will have step-free access but there are no plans to upgrade Croxley station and install lifts so residents of Croxley Green, including Three Rivers District Council councillors Chris Lloyd and Peter Getkahn, organised a petition to get step-free access. The petition with 3328 signatures was formally handed-over to the Programme Director MLX TfL by the chair of Croxley Green Residents’ Association, Barry Grant, on March 16. The online version of the petition will remain active at https://www.change.org/p/step-free-access-for-croxley
