St Albans Police were forced to intervene at an illegal rave in Heartwood Forest on Sunday, September 6.
The rave was attended by approximately one hundred people, breaking government issued social distancing guidelines.
People were dispersed when police arrived at the scene and officers seized various items such as music equipment which had been used at the unlicensed event.
This equipment was seized alongside class A and B drugs.
St Albans Police tweeted at around 3am on the morning of the rave.
The tweet said: “St Albans neighbourhood officers along with intervention attend a report of an unlicensed music within Heartwood forest, Sandridge.
“Approx 100 persons were dispersed from the area, generators and music equipment seized as well as a quantity of class A and B drugs.”
Hertfordshire Police are urging the public to get in touch if they know any information about unlicensed events in their area.
