New statistics have revealed the top five highest earning car parks in Northwood and Ruislip from January 2022 to June 2023.
In data sent to Northwood & Ruislip News by Hillingdon Council through a Freedom of Information request, stats show that the short- and long-stay Kingsend South car park, located off Wood Lane, was the top earner during this time period, with £293,000.
Due to its proximity to the Tube station, Wood Lane Medical Centre and the High Street, the car park has proven to be a popular spot with drivers.
In second place is the car park for much-loved local attraction Ruislip Lido, which earned £251,000 during the same time period. This total also included the overflow car park and the one on Willow Lane.
The car park on Green Lane came in third place, and is the only car park in Northwood to feature in the top five. Located on one of the area’s main roads, it earned a much lower total of £93,000.
In fourth place was the car park on St Martin’s Approach, located on the opposite end of Ruislip High Street to Kingsend South car park. It earned a total of £88,000.
Finally, in fifth place was another car park located on Ruislip High Street, Kingsend North. Its smaller intake of £62,000 can be attributed to its smaller size, with only 33 spaces.
