Chorleywood Music are hosting a special symphony concert to commemorate the music of renowned musician Beethoven.
At 7pm on Saturday, September 28, violinist Katie Mazur and conductor Daniel Hogan will be joined by Chorleywood Orchestra and Chorleywood Festival Chorus for a concert, entitled Ode to Joy.
Taking place at St Andrew’s Church, guests will enjoy a night of Beethoven’s music to celebrate the bicentenary of his 9th Symphony.
The concert will also feature a performance of Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 5.
Katie Mazur, who will be the soloist on the night, spoke to CHORLEYWOODnews and said: “I’d just like to say how happy I am to be invited back to perform Mozart’s Violin Concerto in A Major. The incredible energy the Chorleywood Orchestra have is so contagious and it’s an absolute privilege to collaborate with them.
“This concerto is one of my absolute favourites and I hope the joyous sound we create together portrays how much fun we are having.”
