Parish Council holding Charity Dog Show

Published on: 5th September 2018   |   By: Jake Levison   |   Category: Uncategorized

The Parish Council’s Charity Dog Show is making a return this year and will take place on Sunday September 23.

The event will take place in Stone’s Orchard from 12.00pm and is open to all dogs of Croxley Green.

All proceeds from the show, including the £1 entry fee that owners pay to enter their dogs into each category, will go to Dogs Trust.

Category classics from previous shows such as Best Puppy, Best Bitch and Best Dog (male) are still present this year, and the Parish Council have also introduced a new class into this year’s show called ‘Best of the Rest’. This category will be a second chance for any applicants who entered other classes but did not come away with anything to get their win!

Refreshments will be provided on site and free dog bags will be available too.

Non-dog owners are also invited to go and enjoy the show, which will have free parking available in the Community Way Car Park.

Over £2,000 has been raised by The Parish Council Dog Show’s in previous years.

You can enter the Orchard from The Green, via the footpath from Owens Way and another entrance from the Guild of Sport.
