Lily Janmohamed, 10, is preparing to take part in the Battersea Parkrun 5K in support of disability equality charity Scope.
The year-six pupil will return to the venue hoping to beat her personal best of 19 minutes and 45 seconds, which she set in March this year. Her impressive performance attracted national attention.
The upcoming challenge is the latest in a series of remarkable running achievements for Lily. As previously reported by StanmoreNews, she completed the 5K distance at just eight years old.
This time, Lily is running to raise money for Scope, a charity that supports disabled people and their families across the UK through practical advice, information and campaigning for greater equality.
Lily’s family has set up a JustGiving fundraising page, allowing supporters to donate directly to Scope and follow her progress throughout the challenge.
Donations can be made via the family’s JustGiving page

Lily and her family would be incredibly grateful for any support from the local community, whether through donations, encouragement or simply sharing her fundraising effort.
