Published on: 20th October 2017   |   By: The Newsdesk   |   Category:

The A-level results are in and Kings Langley pupils were far from disappointed yesterday (Thursday) as they received outstanding results. Kings Langley Secondary School received more A and B grades then they have in previous years and the average point score per student has risen from last year’s 700 to 750 this year. Kings Langley Head Teacher, Gary Lewis commented: “I am delighted, we have received outstanding results. “The teachers worked their socks off and the students worked incredibly hard and that’s how we achieved the results.” Toby Frampton, 18, will be studying Geography at Oxford University this September, commented: “I was over the moon with my results, I am grateful for the support from my family, friends and teachers especially Mr Wilshire my maths teacher.” Some students opted for a different route to university, Pritam Josephs, 18, will be joining a school leavers programme to become a chartered accountant. He said: “I will be doing tax advisory for Ernst and Young, which is an alternative route to university; it gives you the opportunity to study and get experience as well as earn money without being in debt.” More than 95 per cent of the students who applied for university were accepted into a place of their choice.
