Following its recent refurbishment, Waitrose supermarket in Rickmansworth has teamed up with two local entrepreneurs to offer freshly made sushi to shoppers.
The Sushi Daily counter uses high-quality ingredients and traditional methods to create authentic Japanese sushi in-store for customers.
This follows a major renovation of the Homestead Road supermarket, which will also see an expansion of the wine selection and John Lewis homeware products introduced to the store.
Shoppers can now enjoy as many as 67 different pieces of sushi to order over the counter, or through the click and collect service, which allows them to pick up their sushi of choice upon walking in.
Kai Li, the franchise owner of the Rickmansworth kiosk, said: “We are delighted to offer local Rickmansworth customers a sushi experience using fresh responsible certificated ingredients, and also with our heart and passion!”
Sushi Daily’s managing director, Ian Roberts, said: “We’re thrilled about opening a new kiosk in Rickmansworth, which builds on our partnership with Waitrose & Partners and makes traditional, high-quality sushi accessible for locals.
“Forget everything you think you know about supermarket sushi! The Sushi Daily kiosk will be offering a range of high-quality sushi and hot food options, suitable for sushi lovers and new customers alike.”
