A community project and registered warm space in Berkhamsted is appealing for volunteers to help deliver its wide range of services.
Open Door helps to tackle social inequality and isolation by hosting workshops, exhibitions and several other projects.
It is searching for help in a variety of different roles, including community café work, such as greeting guests, serving refreshments, kitchen help, and setting up exhibitions or activities.
Help is also needed with IT, events, and admin support, and even fundraising, maintenance and building works. Open Door say it does not require shifts or a regular commitment from volunteers.
In a post on Facebook, the charity said: “Open Door thrives thanks to our volunteers, and we’re always excited to welcome new faces to our amazing team! We’re open to everyone from all walks of life, offering a variety of roles.”
