FOUR YEARS: Man jailed for drug supply offences in St Albans

A man has been jailed after being found guilty of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs across St Albans and Welwyn Hatfield.

Mohammed Hussain, 29, of Oak Grove, appeared at at St Albans Crown Court on Thursday, March 16, and was handed a four-year sentence for running supply lines of heroin and crack cocaine across St Albans and Welwyn Hatfield, between October 2021 and June 2022.

Following a joint investigation with colleagues from the Metropolitan Police Service, Hussain was arrested and subsequently charged.

Detective Sergeant Adam Haines, who led the investigation, said: “Drugs and the criminality associated with them destroys lives. Dealers will often target young and vulnerable people, often leading to devastating consequences.

“We will never stop pursuing those who we suspect to be involved in drug criminality and I am pleased with the sentence that has been handed down in this case.
