A St Albans theatre group is putting on a charity performance in support of Radlett Rotary Club, who will donate the ticket funds to Herts Young Homeless.
The Company of Ten will perform Separate Tables on Thursday, May 4 at Abbey Theatre in St Albans. The play, which is written by Terence Rattigan, is set in a shabby hotel in Bournemouth and tells two separate stories of love and loss.
Tickets cost £15 including a pre-theatre glass of wine or a soft drink; there will also be a raffle held on the night to help raise extra funds for the causes.
Fundraising chair Harry Bellak said: “We normally nominate one charity as the main beneficiary of each fundraising event, with smaller amounts going to a number of local charities. However, in the case of the charity Separate Tables performance at the Abbey Theatre, we have agreed that all of the proceeds of our ticket sales will go to Herts Young Homeless.”
To buy a ticket, send a bank transfer to ‘The Rotary Club of Radlett’ (sort code 20-03-84, account no. 73325369), using your name and phone number as the reference. The rotary club will get in contact with you to arrange the tickets.
