A moped that was driven illegally in Kings Langley with no insurance or MOT was seized by local police officers.
Members of the Three Rivers Police Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) were called to Ovaltine Drive on the afternoon of Thursday, June 7, having heard reports of anti-social vehicle use.
Upon arriving at the scene, the officers located the offending vehicle, a moped, and discovered upon inspection that it lacked the necessary requirements to be driven on the road.
Therefore, a decision was made to seize the vehicle and take it off the streets, removing it from the owner’s possession.
PCSO Dean Redhead, from Three Rivers NPT, said: “We are determined to ensure that our local roads are safe and that includes removing uninsured vehicles from them.
“This should also be a warning to those who think they can get away with driving offences.”
