After a year filled with milestones and national recognition, Abbots Tandoori is starting 2026 on a high note.
The family-run restaurant thanked the village community for the support, which helped propel the restaurant to new heights.
Last month (December), ABBOTSnews published a feature highlighting the long list of accolades the business proudly accumulated throughout 2025, marking one of its most successful years to date.
Some of these included the restaurant being listed among the Top 100 Asian Restaurants in the UK, an honour acknowledged by the House of Lords, and also securing a five-star hygiene rating three in 2025.
Speaking to ABBOTSnews, owner Emon Chowdhury said: “Thank you so much for all your support this year, we could not have done this without the community and our customers. The recognition from both diners and industry bodies has been truly humbling.”
Looking ahead to the new year, Abbots Tandoori continues to aim high for 2026, hoping to achieve even more accolades and continue serving the village with pride.
