More than 60 pieces of Oasis memorabilia, including handwritten lyrics and musical instruments, will go on sale in a live auction in Rickmansworth next month.
Hosted by local collectables business Propstore, the collection includes a variety of iconic guitars, 18 of which were previously owned by Noel Gallagher.
The most famous of Noel’s guitars going to auction is his custom Silver Sparkle Gibson Les Paul Florentine, which is expected to sell for between £200,000 and £400,000.
Several of the guitars on offer are signed by Noel and can be photo-matched to significant performances throughout his career.
Noel’s handwritten lyrics for some of Oasis’ most famous hits will also be on sale, including those for Wonderwall, Supersonic and Live Forever.
Also going to auction are Noel’s custom-made psychedelic golf buggy, a gift from his ex-wife Meg Mathews; a tambourine used on stage by Liam Gallagher; and various stage equipment.
Mark Hochman, Propstore’s music and poster specialist, said: “Propstore is genuinely excited to offer fans the chance to own these extraordinary pieces of music history.
“This auction provides a unique opportunity for people to connect with the legacy of Oasis and we can’t wait to see these iconic items become part of new collections that will celebrate them for years to come.”
