North London’s ‘favourite restaurant’ to close its doors

Published on: 30th May 2018   |   By: Jason Allen   |   Category: Uncategorized

A restaurant, described on social media as ‘North London’s favourite’ has announced it is closing its doors for good because of “deteriorating trading conditions”.

Delisserie in Stanmore also has other branches nearby announced the closure on the morning of May 11, following 16 successful years of trading.

Another branch of the New York-style eatery was also closed in Mill Hill.

A statement released by Delisserie said: “It is with great regret that we announce the closure of Delisserie restaurants as of this morning. Unfortunately trading conditions, for various reasons, have drastically deteriorated over the last year or so and the impact on the casual dining sector has been severe.

“Rent, rates, food and wage cost increases combined with an uncertain consumer market place has contributed to an even tougher trading environment. We would like to thank all of our staff for their hard work and loyalty and our customers for their support over the last 16 years.”
