A team from a local nursery are taking on a Tough Mudder challenge to raise money for the Children’s A&E Department at Watford General Hospital. A total of 40 of The Boys & Girls Nursery staff team will be participating in the gruelling course later this month, working together, the challenge will involve ten long miles of mud and obstacles that will test their will power and physical fitness to beyond comfortable. They have been training hard and need lots of support and encouragement. Watford General Hospital Children’s A&E Department is a great cause and some of us will have utilised the children’s A&E department at some point, so it would be great if we could give something back to them by way of fresh equipment to keep the little ones busy whilst waiting or during a stay. They would really appreciate the smallest of donations for this amazing cause, which provides such a vital service for the local community.
