NOSY NEIGHBOUR: Witness appeal following vehicle interference in Watford

Officers are appealing for witnesses and information following reports of vehicle interference in Watford.

A 43 year old man from Watford has been arrested on suspicion of vehicle interference. He has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.

Police were called at 4am on Wednesday, July 6 after a person with a torch was seen looking into parked vehicles on Kingsfield Road.

Officers attended and a man was arrested.

PC Chris Short, who is investigating, said: “I’d like to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the area at the time or perhaps caught something unusual on CCTV.

“A number of items, including sunglasses and jewellery, have also been recovered so if you believe these could be yours please get in touch.
