Kings Langley Secondary School has unveiled its new Sixth Form building.

At a special ceremony on the evening of Tuesday, January 23, staff, the student leadership team and the board of governors all gathered together to open the new KLSix building, which includes classrooms, laboratories, studios and social spaces.

The building is dedicated to the chair of governors, Frances Stickley, with the opening ceremony also celebrating her 24 years of service to the school.

She was presented with a plaque which will be placed in the entrance to the building.

The redevelopment was given a boost following the launch of a ‘buy a brick’ initiative last year. This scheme invited local residents to purchase their own mock brick to raise money for the centre.

Speaking at the event, principal assistant teacher James Tubb said: “We gather within this remarkable and exciting new addition to Kings Langley School, not just to inaugurate a physical structure, but to celebrate the embodiment of dreams, aspirations, and the relentless pursuit of providing young people with the highest standard of education.”
