Whether your preference is a Jaguar E-Type or a Morris Minor, Classics on the Green is coming back to Hertfordshire.
Taking place on Croxley Green on Sunday May 3, the event brings together an eclectic mix of vintage and classic vehicles, from beautifully restored British icons to rare international models.
Organised by the Watford & District Classic Vehicle Club, the show celebrates more than 30 years of passion for classic motoring.
Beginning late morning, visitors can stroll among polished chrome, chat with proud owners, and enjoy the nostalgia of a bygone motoring era.
It’s not just about the 800 cars present! With live band, The Lynch Mob, Hortons Steam Fair, and the idyllic Croxley village green setting providing a relaxed, social atmosphere, why not make a day of it?
Event coordinator Kevin France told CroxleyNews, “The growth of the event has been so great, albeit when 2,000 cars turned up in 2016 to make it the biggest midweek show in the country, we knew we had to scale it back!
“In the years that followed our helpers and committee have assembled to the point now that when Hortons asked if we would join them, we knew it was time to bring it back.:”
All proceeds from the event go to local and national good causes – the total donated from past events is now well into six figures.
