Residents in Chorleywood can enjoy a fantastic week of events this month all focused on eco-friendly activities.
The South West Herts Great Big Green Week, taking place in conjunction with a series of national events, is being held between Friday, June 8, and Sunday, June 16.
Organised by Friends of the Earth Watford and Three Rivers, the events include litter picks, film screenings, cycling skills, nature surveys, clothes swaps, and more.
The events will be held in Chorleywood, Croxley Green, Rickmansworth, Bushey, Watford, Abbots Langley, Garston and Kings Langley. There will also be a Big Green Festival taking place at Chiltern Open Air Museum, which includes a live theatre show, an artisan market, family activities, and more.
The activities are available to people of all ages and aim to raise awareness of climate change and biodiversity.
