Police were called in Horseshoe Lane, Garston, and found a man who had sustained stab wounds.

Officers attended the scene on July 5 at 12.45pm after they received reports of an altercation involving four men.

The man who was stabbed was then taken to hospital, with injuries that are not thought to be life-threatening.

The offenders, who were all described as white males wearing joggers, are believed to have left the scene in a vehicle, possibly a silver Volkswagen. Officers searched the area but they remain outstanding at this time.

It is believed that the victim and the offenders are known to each other.
