The Chiltern Open Air Museum in Chalfont St Giles reopened for its 2025 season on Saturday, March 8.
The museum, which has more than 30 historic buildings available for visitors to explore, will host several exciting events this year.
This includes a Medieval Festival over Easter from April 19 to 21, which will feature living history displays, knights, archery and a medieval court.
The epic Napoleonic Weekend will take place on May 31 and June 1, when 200 re-enactors will take over the site with spectacular battle displays and cavalry horses. This will be followed by the return of Medieval Jousting on June 28 and 29.
General manager Helen Light said: “We’re thrilled to welcome back visitors to Chiltern Open Air Museum for the 2025 season.
“Our team have been busy creating new interpretation and carrying out conservation works. We’re excited to be launching a new digital guide, we will be hosting The Longest Yarn exhibition throughout August, and we have a spectacular events programme planned.”
