Deeper magic, darker secrets, and mounting danger await in the second instalment of a Bushey author’s fantasy trilogy.
Fuelled with creative passion and inspired by her own life challenges, in Evil’s Wrath G.T Jones returns readers to the fantasy land Elementa, where the protagonist Meadow faces the challenges of knowing who to trust and making the right decisions.
Speaking to BUSHEYnews, the author said: “The feedback [for the first book, The Beast Trials] has been incredible. It went from a small audience to over 10,000 followers on TikTok.
“Watching the excitement of people reading my book has been a bit emotional. It has been lovely getting the attention, but for me to see someone loving my book, that’s what it’s all about.”
G.T Jones, who has dyspraxia, also shared that she has felt more “confident and braver” while writing her second book – and now wants to encourage others to not “let other people tell you what you can or can’t do”.
Evil’s Wrath takes off from where the trials in the first book end, and the author teased she has “decided to make it a little more tricky” for readers to guess the twists and turns.
The book is released on Tuesday, July 29. Residents are invited to attend a book signing at Waterstones Watford at 10am on Saturday, August 2.
