A mini community book hub in Pinner has had a facelift, thanks to the crafty work of some primary school students.
In March this year, the beloved Pinner & Eastcote Book Hub, run by resident Miriam Gordon-Linton, joined partners with TAG Drinks in Eastcote to open a smaller version of the much-loved book hub, called the Pinner & Eastcote Book Hub Express.
Now, the Book Hub Express has been given a new look, thanks to students from Cannon Lane Primary School. The youngsters used their DIY skills and artistic flare to create a new sign for the shop window, in the hopes of enticing more readers to explore the hub.
Speaking to Pinnernews, Hovig Yardim, managing director for TAG Drinks, said: “Thanks to Ms McCurdy and class 1M from Cannon Lane Primary School for embellishing the TAG Book Hub Express, in partnership with Miriam from the Pinner & Eastcote Book Hub. We’ve proudly put it in our front window for all of Eastcote to see!”
