Barchester’s Bushey House Beaumont Care Home hosted an Afternoon Tea on Thursday, September 30 to raise money for local charity, The Red Trust Bushey.
The team at Bushey House prepared afternoon tea with treats and drinks for the occasion and raised £143 for the Food Bank.
Residents, their relatives and staff were all very supportive and bought raffle tickets to go towards the fundraising challenge.
Ranjit Karavadra, General Manager at Bushey House Beaumont Care Home, said: “The afternoon tea was a huge success and a lot of fun. Everyone at the home enjoyed themselves and contributed in some way. It’s for such an important cause. I’m very glad we were able to do our bit to raise further awareness and money for the charity.”
