FUN DAY: Bushey school’s annual charity summer fair is postponed due to “horrific” weather forecast

A school in Bushey was set to hold its annual charity summer fair this week.

Friends of Bournehall Primary School  (FOBS) was looking forwad to its annual summer fair on Friday, July 5, from 3:30 till 5:30pm.

This family-friendly event promised a day filled with fun activities, games, and entertainment for all ages. Residents were invited to indulge in delicious treats, explore local artisan crafts, and participate in a raffle draw.

Due to this weekend’s forecast of inclement weather, the Friends have made the “difficult” decision to postpone the event. In the meantime, they are looking for more sponsorship and support.

This year, FOBS are dedicated to raising funds for the enhancement of the school’s sensory library and electrical screen in the main school hall. Their goal is to foster a nurturing environment which promotes literacy and physical well-being for pupils.
