The Conservative Party have lost their longstanding majority of Dacorum Borough Council following the local elections held on Thursday, May 4.
All 51 seats across the borough were under contention. The Tories lost 13 seats, slipping from 31 to 18.
Meanwhile, new majority rulers Liberal Democrats have risen from 19 to 28.
Labour brought their seats up from one to three, whilst two seats have gone to independent candidates.
The Conservatives have suffered multiple blows in the area, losing Hertsmere, East Herts and Welywn Hatfield.
