When you walk past a local pub or a restaurant early evening, you’re not always surprised to hear live musicians doing a stint, but you certainly would be surprised if you were walking past the local jewellers!
That’s exactly what happened on Thursday night (January 24), at Estamira Jewels in Green Lane, Northwood. Four local musicians, Virgil Vaitkusa on accordion, Michael Serota on bass guitar, Philip Bridle on lead guitar, and owner of Estamira Jewels, Amir Katz, on drums, played a variety of jazz, rock and pop for two hours just for fun.
Passers-by were invited in to enjoy music and refreshments all free of charge.
Amir and his friends hope to play again sometime soon and advises to look out for notices advertising the next event.
