From a local historian to a celebrity chef, Chorleywood Bookshop has a number of exciting events coming up over the next two months.
First up is a book signing with author, comedian and actor Ben Miller at the bookshop at 5.30pm on Friday, December 5. He will be signing copies of his children’s novel, The Night I Met Father Christmas.
Next is an afternoon with local historian Alan Jamieson at Chorleywood Library at 2.30pm on Tuesday, December 9. In his new book, Alan explores the history of Chorleywood, Rickmansworth and Croxley through their fascinating buildings.
Following this is an evening with Robert Thorogood, author of The Marlow Murder Club series, at Chorleywood Library at 7pm on Tuesday, January 20.
January will also see a visit from Belles Berry, daughter of Mary Berry, at Chorleywood Bookshop at 7pm on Wednesday, January 21. Her new cookbook, Menolicious, features a variety of recipes to help ease symptoms of the menopause.
