At the Kings Langley High Street Christmas lights switch-on event on Saturday, November 22, Dream Doors opened a Santa Paws Grotto as a treat for our loyal four-legged family members.
The kitchen makeover shop owners and staff thought it would be a bit of fun and a good way to raise some money for charity.
The grotto was constructed inside the High Street shop from imagination, cardboard packing, some items from home and a few bought-in bits to complete the look, ready for the big man to appear. Despite the on-and-off inclement weather, there was a good turnout of excited dogs and their owners, eager to see if they were on the “who’s a good boy” list!
Santa Paws confirmed all the canine companions had been good all year so each took away some treats and in the process helped raise money, which was topped up by Dream Doors to £300, donated to The Children’s Heart Federation.
Dream Doors can neither confirm or deny the grotto’s return for next year, watch this space and listen for the sleigh bells!
