Harrow and Pinner Lions Club (HPLC) have donated vouchers and a new table tennis table to the Rainbow Ward at Northwick Park Hospital.

The paediatric oncology ward received £500 worth of vouchers for Uber, Costa, Marks & Spencer, WHSmith, and more, as well as a new table tennis table for the children to enjoy.

HPLC headed to social media and said: “We would like to thank all our supporters in making this possible.

“If you would like to help or get involved, come along and meet us at one of our local activities, which include a weekly food hub, litter picks, race nights and entertainment evenings for the elderly.”

This comes after the Lions International Foundation announced that the theme of the 46th annual Lions Day with the United Nations on Friday, March 1, will be World Peace and Environmental Stewardship.
