Data has revealed that Croxley Station is one of Transport for London’s least-used stations, meaning grabbing a seat on the Metropolitan line from the village is one of the easiest on the entire network.
According to MailOnline, Kings Cross St Pancras is the busiest station, welcoming more than six million passengers annually.
At the other end of the scale is Roding Valley, which is the least busy, carrying just over 300,000 passengers each year.
Croxley came eighth on the list of least busy stations, welcoming just over one million people annually. The MailOnline says the lower number of passengers can be attributed to “the choice of commuters to take faster trains from Watford Junction, which is only 2.5 miles away and has services going into London Euston”.
