Members of U3A Chiltern have revealed their plans heading into the new year.
Last year, U3A Chiltern celebrated its 25th anniversary and welcomed a record 270 new members, bringing the total up to 1,465.
The association is busy establishing several new groups to join the existing 95 which already cover a variety of physical, mental and social activities. New groups include beginner-level language groups, acoustic guitar playing, jewellery making, pickle ball and Scottish dancing.
Alongside these groups, U3A Chiltern is still hosting its larger monthly gatherings featuring external speakers at the Chilterns Lifestyle Centre in Amersham.
A spokesperson for the group said: “Come and meet other members and stay for refreshments and a chat!
“‘Learn, Laugh, Live’ is not only about the physical and mental stimulation members get from participating in small groups, but also the friendships that are made with like-minded individuals.”
