Hemel Town were beaten by an 87th minute winner against Weymouth at home as The Tudors are now without a win in eight games.
The first chance of the game came for the away side on the 18th minute as Daniel Grimshaw, who signed on loan from Premier League champions Manchester City denied a certain goal from close range.
The first half was completely even after that with neither side troubling the opposition goalkeeper too much.
Aron Davies should have put Hemel in front on the hour mark but his strike went narrowly wide.
The Tudors were pushing for a winner when James Dobson played a delightful pass for Davies to attack but he couldn’t trouble the Weymouth keeper.
Hemel hearts were broken on the 87th minute when an own goal went past Grimshaw and into the net for Weymouth to steal all three points.
There were positives to take from the game but Hemel walk away with the bad form continuing and ultimately needing to end the rut they’re currently on.
Hemel are back in action on the weekend and it’s a trip to Eastbourne Borough.
