Published on: 30th June 2026   |   By: The Newsdesk   |   Category: Featured

A 45-year-old man was taken to hospital after a stabbing prompted a major emergency response and police investigation on Ruislip High Street.

Police cordoned off a section of the road outside the Iceland store from 12pm on June 30, as the London Ambulance Service and armed police were seen attending the incident.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson told Northwood&RuislipNews: “Officers attended the incident alongside the London Ambulance Service, who treated a man before taking him to hospital. We await an update on his condition.

“A 55-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. He was taken to police custody, where he remains.

“Enquiries continue and anyone with information that may assist police is asked to call 101 quoting CAD 3590/30Jun.”

Several bus routes were disrupted following the emergency services incident and locals were left baffled by another knife crime in the area.

Hillingdon Reform UK added: “An alleged stabbing or machete attack in Ruislip. Ealing at the weekend – now this! A man is in custody apparently. Air ambulance attended. This never used to happen in Ruislip.”
