Watch Commander Matt Day and his crew would like to invite villagers to an open day at Kings Langley Fire Station during half term week. On May 28, there will be an opportunity to demonstrate your skills with a fire hose and enter a competition or two (help choose a name for the fire engine, guess its weight and a smoke alarm hunt in the High Street). The event runs from 2pm to 5pm. Light refreshments will be available and there will also be the chance to check out the fire engine and fire station. Keep your eyes open for the posters in the village for more details.
