Rock Choir is the world’s largest contemporary choir, with over 33,000 members participating in approximately 400 local communities across the UK and Ireland.
Rock Choir has an uplifting ethos of fun and friendship, and community spirit is a huge part of its attraction, where members enjoy a dynamic, glamorous, accessible, and busy new social life while connecting with their community.
With no auditions and no requirement to read music, it helps improve people’s well-being by building their self-confidence, self-esteem, and in turn helps them to enjoy positive mental and physical health benefits, all through the power of group singing, and the Rock Choir team ensure that the unique educational and social schedule provides many benefits, culminating in a joyous and life-changing experience for the members.
Rock Choir offers all ages an alternative experience to the traditional classical or community choir, introducing members to feel-good or emotional pop, rock, and contemporary chart songs. For some, these songs help release stress and act as therapy.
Hit songs from the current charts and decades are deconstructed and rebuilt by Founder and Creative Director, Caroline Redman Lusher MBE, and her creative team to offer members unique versions of favourite hits.
Rock Choir offers members once-in-a-lifetime and unique experiences locally and nationally, such as recording at London’s Abbey Road Studios, taking part in the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and BBC Proms in the Park.
They have performed together as one Rock Choir at the nation’s arenas such as the BP Pulse LIVE, London O2, Wembley, Liverpool, and the NEC. Members have been on tour to support artists such as Russell Watson, contributed to high-profile albums, performed in iconic venues such as The Royal Albert Hall, performed on national television, and have sung at red carpet film premieres.
