Residents at Chorleywood Beaumont Care Home recently enjoyed a musical treat from local group Chorleywood Jazz.
As well as a live concert, there were cocktails and baked goods on offer for staff, residents and guests.
The event also raised money for Christ Church Chorleywood to help fund groups for elderly people in the village.
John, a resident at the care home, said: “I love music, and especially jazz, so when I heard we were having a jazz event, I couldn’t wait.
“It was a fantastic day; both myself and my daughter enjoyed it immensely. Thanks to all those involved. It was absolutely superb.”
Manager Samantha O’Neal said: “Our residents and guests had a wonderful afternoon singing along with the wonderful performers.
“We are very grateful to Chorleywood Jazz and a special thank you to Christine Deeley who arranged for the band to play.
“We decided to fundraise at the event and we will be donating all the proceeds to Christ Church and the wonderful groups they host for older people in our community.”
