An Amersham care home has won a number of awards at both local and national levels for its hard work during the pandemic.
The most recent award won by Ashridge Home Care, in The Broadway, was the Best Employer Award in The Proud of Bucks Awards.
Proud of Bucks winners are applauded for their efforts in helping others during the pandemic.
The awards don’t stop there though as the care home also won the national Home Care Hero (Innovation) 2020 Award.
A spokesperson for the care home said: “This award means a lot to the Ashridge team, everyone has worked so hard during this COVID-19 pandemic to ensure our vulnerable clients continue to receive a great home care service.
“At the end of the day a care provider can only be the best employer if it has the best care workers and so we would like to say a huge thank you to the whole team for their resilience, compassion, support and dedication.”
Speaking on the home’s prestigious Home Care Hero award, a spokesperson said: “We are delighted and proud to announce we’ve won the prestigious Home Care Hero (Innovation) 2020 Award.
“Such great news amidst a challenging time for everyone working in front line services. These awards mark the success of the whole team, who show absolute dedication and commitment to providing outstanding home care.”
The care home also received three nominations in the final of the Great British Care Awards.
