HUMAN WASTE: Travellers leave rubbish in Stones Orchard Croxley Green

Published on: 3rd September 2019   |   By: News Desk   |   Category: Uncategorized

Travellers have been moved on from Stones Orchard in Croxley Green today (September 3).

The parish council has been left to clear up their rubbish and human waste was left on the grass and in hedgerows.

The district council and local police officers were able to swiftly move the encampment on within two days.

The park rangers for the council have been tasked with clearing their mess.

They tweeted: “Please take care if you plan on visiting the Orchard today. There’s plenty of rubbish and unfortunately human waste in all the hedgerows.

“Please do not try and remove it yourself. We are in the process of sorting this mess out. Thank you for your patience.”

The parish council added: “We will be hoping to make the area clear today.

“Although we do not own the land, in our contract with TRDC for the maintenance of the Green and Stones Orchard, we are responsible for the clearance of any fly-tipping that may occur.”
