A man has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to burgle in connection with a number of offences in the Berkhamsted and Tring area.
The man, aged 38 and from Leighton Buzzard in Bedfordshire, was arrested on Thursday, July 25 and he is currently in police custody.
In the past week, there have been a number of reported burglaries in both the Berkhamsted and Tring area which are being treated as linked.
Dacorum Safer Neighbourhood Inspector Jeff Scott said: “I would like to reassure the community that we redirected specialist resources to tackle the recent rise in this type of crime in the area.
“We will continue to work hard to thoroughly investigate each of these incidents.”
