The Office for National Statistics (ONS) has released a new article, detailing the rising prices of house prices and rents in Harrow.
According to the article, which was updated on Wednesday, October 16, the average house price in Harrow is £533,000, up 4.4% from August last year, with terraced houses going up the most at 5%.
Monthly rent has skyrocketed to £1,461, which is up 11% compared to last year’s statistics, and the added average price paid by first-time buyers has risen 4.9%, to £442,000.
For homes bought with a mortgage, the average price has risen 4.5% to £539,000. The average across the country is around £277,000, with the average for the capital being around £545,000.
Harrow Council has been contacted for comment.
