Horse sanctuary asking for help

Cecil’s Horse Sanctuary (CHS) is appealing to Radlett residents for help in their bid to support their ponies.

CHS is a small horse and pony sanctuary based locally which aims to relieve the suffering of horses and ponies and provides and maintains rescue homes and other facilities for the care and treatment of such them.

It is now looking for 700 CHS Guardian Angels to donate a monthly sum of £5. 

A spokesperson for CHS said: “Please help us to make a difference to our sanctuary ponies, they need our help but they also need yours.

“If we can find 700 people to set up a monthly donation of £5, this will cover our monthly feed and land rent bill of £3,458 per month, leaving all other donations to pay for farrier, vets, medication, wormers etc. the list is endless.

“We will be creating a page of gratitude to all our monthly guardian angels on our website. If you prefer your name to be anonymous, please just let us know. If you cannot help financially, please simply share our poster.

“The ponies are and will be so grateful for all your support.”
