We all love a singsong at Christmas, and music lovers in Pinner are invited to raise their voices once again as Harrow Choral Society hosts two special community events.
Following the success of last year’s Come and Sing Mozart’s Requiem, the society is returning with Come and Sing Mendelssohn’s Elijah on Saturday, November 15, at St Alban’s Church Hall in North Harrow.
Singers of all abilities are welcome to take part in a day of rehearsal and performance under the direction of Sam Evans, with Paul Ayres accompanying. Music can be borrowed on the day. Tickets cost £25 and students go free.
Then on Saturday, December 13, the society’s much-loved Christmas Celebration returns to Harrow School Speech Room.
Conducted by Sam Evans, with the Byron Ensemble and soprano Jessica Cale, the concert will feature carols by Jonathan Rathbone alongside festive favourites and traditional audience participation.
